Cindy Babcock Mosaics

     Cindy has studied mosaics for the past ten years.  She has traveled the country to attend various workshops, taken classes and spent hours upon hours in her studio.  Working mostly with hand cut stained glass and smalti, Cindy expanded her pallete and incorporating different materials in her pieces.  The various mediums add texture, dimension and luminosity to the scenes. Some of these mixed media elements include marble, ceramic, hand made tiles, turquoise, agates, geodes, crystals and assorted semi-precious gems.  Any piece could include amber, jade, garnet, lapis, onyx or citrine.
